Like all cutting tools unprotected and inappropriately stored circular saw blades can be easily damaged risking the integrity of the blades and to often the safety of saw operators.
Our extensive research has identified; while most workshop employers and managers instruct and encourage their saw operators to use appropraite
blades when utilising their saws this is not always adhered to. A major reason for this was; many saw operators often find it difficult to source the proper blades within the workplace and many indicated they had little time to spend searching for them.
Bladehold concluded one of the best ways to assist saw operators to use their saws safely was to have a selection of fully serviced blades stored within the vicinity of the saw being operated, this would help avoid the problem of sourcing blades and help to prevent saw operators ignoring the need to change blades when neccessarry.
